Mitsuya Cider candies are a delightful treat, offering a fun and refreshing experience with each bite. The assorted flavors—grape, lemon, apple, and mitsuya cider—are all vibrant and delicious, each capturing the essence of the fruit in a way that feels both authentic and sweet. What really sets these candies apart is the fizzy sensation they create when you pop them in your mouth, adding an unexpected and playful element to the tasting experience. I first discovered them during a trip to Japan, and it was a pleasant surprise to find them available for delivery. A perfect blend of nostalgia and newness—highly recommend!

These are a really neat hard candy that actually crackles and fizzles in your mouth like a sip of freshly opened can of soda.

They're sweet with a kind of sourness to it (the grape flavor is my #1), and to my surprise there was actually plenty of pieces in the bag. Gotta warn you though not to enjoy too many back to back, the roof of your mouth and your tongue will be left w/ a stinging sensation for a bit.

These are slightly nostalgic for me, but foremost very memorable! I had them in Japan on a trip and since then I could never forget them. Every now and then an acquaintance brought back a bag for me until Snack Republic was started up. For this price, you get a really nice candy experience!

The small looking bag lasts quite a while if you don’t marathon them all in one sitting. They’re sweet with just a pleasant touch of sourness on the tip of the tongue, depending on the flavour (the candy wrapper colour tell you which flavour you’re getting).

The best thing is that the moment you put them in your mouth, they give a pleasantly light sizzle like a soda drink that lasts until they’ve melted away, while for some other candy you have to wait to get to the core to get that double experience. If you’ve ever had the Marune original flavour soft drink with the glass bottle and glass ball; I kid you not the fizzle tastes the exact same!
