What Is Koala's March?

Koala's March is a Japanese snack made by LOTTE Co., Ltd. in 1984.
The hexagonal-shape box comes with 30 pieces of bite-sized cookie snacks with a sweet chocolate filling inside. Each piece is in the shape of a koala with a picture of a koala on the outside of the cookie.
In 1984, when it was first developed, some koalas were gifted from Australia to Japan. Since then, koala has started going viral throughout Japan. Koala’s March has been loved by Japanese people since then.

Koala's March is the origin of a “Fortune Cookie”?

Oh, by the way, we have superstition where ‘we are lucky if we see a piece of Koala’s March with the eyebrows on’, right?
Wow~! I feel nostalgic! We did have such a superstition or a rumor, huh?
This Koala’s March was said to be the first snack where we have this kind of superstition such as ‘we’re lucky if we have ●● in the snack that we bought’.
For instance...... As for Apollo (a chocolate snack), if a strawberry side and a chocolate side are flipped, you’re lucky. As for Happy Turn (usually a long piece), if we find a heart-shaped piece, you’re lucky.
