February 14th is Valentine's Day! In Japan, this is a day to give chocolates or sweets to others to express daily gratitude or feelings of love! There's a strong image of it being the day you confess your feelings by giving chocolate to someone you like. Even if you aren't confessing, it's widely recognized as a day to give chocolate to people who have helped you, so it's known as the day when the most people eat chocolate in Japan!

Personally, I think this is a time when many chocolates with super cute packaging are released, not just tasty ones! Especially for chocolates that come in tins or boxes, you can use them as small storage containers after eating the chocolate! You can choose by taste, or you can choose by cuteness! As Valentine's Day approaches, the world overflows with such wonderful chocolates, so please go check them out!
