Hello everyone! I'm Saori from Japanese Snacks Republic!

This time! It was actually devised by a high school student living in Kyoto! This collaboration flavor, deeply infused with the deliciousness of Kyoto's famous specialty, is here!

Kyoto's soul food, Shibazuke Tartar Sauce, is deliciously made into potato chips!
It's sour and spicy, yet somehow creamy!
Kyoto Karamucho Shibazuke Pickles & Tartar Sauce is here!

The Shibazuke Tartar Sauce that is the theme this time is Shibazuke—one of Kyoto's three major pickles, made by salting vegetables like eggplant and cucumber with red shiso leaves—mixed with tartar sauce! It's characterized by its sweet and sour taste alongside the creaminess of the tartar sauce, and it's delicious with fried food or even spread on bread! Since it's a specialty of Kyoto, it became a hot topic both overseas and in Japan when it became an optional topping for hamburgers at the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto! (It was delicious!)

This time, Karamucho has deliciously absorbed that Shibazuke Tartar Sauce! Realizing the idea of a high school student in Kyoto who thought, 'This would make it delicious!', it has been released as Kyoto Karamucho, which is mild from the sourness and cream, yet still has a spicy kick!
