We taste a special umami, which is nothing like other soup~! So, today! I’ll be sharing with you a summer-edition Instant Ramen with refreshing clam umami!

Refreshing but Rich! Tried a Special Edition Instant Ramen!

It’s supervised by a popular ramen place in Shinjuku!
They replicated a No.1 ramen in Konjiki Hototogisu, which is also one-Michelin-starred restaurant!

The Instant Ramen we’ll be featuring today is very special, where the owner of a ramen place in Shinjuku, Japan, replicated and supervised one of their No.1 ramen. The ramen there are so good and popular that they won one-star Michelin! They have released various Instant Ramen and collaborated with other famous ramen restaurants too.
Their policy is that they offer their “only-one” ramen to customers. The soup is refreshing and also rich with the savory clam flavor.

  • It has mild aroma just like butter! The extract you put three minutes after pouring hot water makes it even tastier!
  • The soup has a strong clam taste and so good! It tastes light with clam’s umami and salt but you’ll be satisfied with this well-balanced taste.
  • The noodles are perfect size, which matches with soup! It wouldn’t be this good with thick noodles (because thick noodles would make the taste too strong). This perfect thin-sized noodles perfectly blend with soup, which makes it even tastier!

Right! This soup perfectly matches with these thin noodles! It tastes light but somehow, it’s rich! It doesn’t make sense but it’s good anyhow.
Japanese summer is so hot that I haven’t had any ramen lately so I’m so happy that I’m finally eating it......
In general, salt-flavor ramen becomes more popular in summer because of this light flavor. Many people like it because ‘it’s simple with a slightly salty flavor’ but I personally think ‘we can enjoy eating it because it’s simple.’ I love shoyu-flavored ramen too but I also love salt-flavored one because I can taste all the ingredients more. You guys, summer is the best season for anything salt-flavored! Why don’t you give it a try to this salty-flavored ramen?
