So, Japan has just welcomed the New Year and we’re in the festive New Year mood...... But as we approach February’s candy event, Valentine’s Day, it’s also the season for new chocolate creations! Today, I’ll introduce a brand-new, slightly sweet-and-tangy chocolate flavor for you all~!

The theme of this chocolate is ganache, which is a chocolate cream made by adding fresh cream to melted chocolate! So, orange chocolate made with ganache is essentially fresh cream mixed with orange and melted together with chocolate! Thanks to the inclusion of ganache, the texture is a bit softer than regular chocolate, and the difference in texture when you bite into it is a key delicious point!

This time, the new flavor combines tangy fruit melted into fresh cream and sandwiched between layers of chocolate! In Japan, Valentine’s Day in February is an event where chocolates and sweets are given as gifts, so this is a refreshing new flavor that’s a little different from the usual, ordinary chocolates!
