What Is Obaachan No Potapota Yaki (Grandma's Potapota-yaki)?

Obaachan No Potapota Yaki (Grandma's Potapota-yaki) Senbei is developed by KAMEDA SEIKA CO.,LTD.
It was first made in 1986, whose selling point is the senbei “glazed with sweet and tangy flavor”. With a 36-year history, this special flavor hasn’t changed although the design or recipe have been updated.
“Pota Pota” in the title is one of the Japanese onomatopes where “the water drips.” Therefore, this snack “Obaachan No Potapota Yaki (Grandma's Potapota-yaki) Senbei” indicates the situation where a grandmother drips sugar soy-sauce to senbei while slowly grilling them.
FYI, if you say “Over ture no pot a pot a your key” in English, it sounds like “Obaachan No Potapota Yaki” in Japanese.
