Yes exactly! This is a follow-up to our previous article, ‘Gotta have with White Rice’ version 1, Gyoza (dumpling) flavor. The 2nd version new flavor!

Ah~! Yes I remember! The Gyoza flavor was good too! So it’s a grilled pork with ginger version...... it’s hard for me to imagine what it would taste like as a cup noodle. Is it going to have a strong meat flavor? Or the sauce flavor?

What could it taste like? It seems like this one too has a special oil to enhance the flavor, so let’s go right ahead, try it and review it!

The taste of Cup Noodle - Shouga-yaki Grilled Pork with Ginger!

• Smells just like real Shouga-yaki! If you blind-fold someone and have them smell this, they will definitely say “I smell grilled pork with ginger,” an appetizing smell!
• The ginger based soup is pretty distinctive and is delicious! Maybe for the white rice pairing, it’s rich in flavor, and the ginger-soy sauce base soup is so attractive! The flavor of ginger is slightly stronger than the soy sauce, and it warms the body! (Delicious!)
• Noodle is on the thin side, soaks up the best of, and brings out the delicious of the soup! It also comes with toppings, and it is highly polished as a ginger x soy sauce tasty cup noodle! The kick is toned down compared to the gyoza flavor, which enhances the compatibility of the noodle and the white rice!

Ah~~ I see~. So Saori, I imagine you like this grilled pork with ginger flavor than the gyoza flavor?

I do! The totality of noodle, soup, topping, flavor...... totality? The balance? This grilled ginger with pork flavor has more unity, so I like it!(Also GOOD for its strong ginger flavor!) I actually can’t eat so much to finish the rice if I were to eat as the cup noodle’s concept to eat with white rice, so I appreciate that the noodle itself feels complete!

I get that. I’m the opposite. The flavor and the smell is really very nice but if I were to, as the concept goes, ‘eat with white rice,’ I prefer the dumpling flavor with a impactful and strong flavor. （Even BETTER if you add vinegar)!
